2018 Character Calendar Available Now!
A calendar for the entire family! This new Biblical Character Illustrated 2018 Calendar presents a study from the Scriptures on 12 character qualities that reflect the nature of God. A Christ-Centered Vacation for the Whole Family!
The International ALERT Academy is getting ready for their annual fall Family Camp, held the week of October 14-20, 2017. This event is a time for the ALERT students and staff to serve and encourage families in the community and around the nation, giving them a memorable, action-packed vacation and the opportunity to fellowship with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Fathers and Sons Learn to Rise Up as Men of God
The 2017 Southern ALERT Cadet Leadership Training Corps (LTC) Camp was held in Big Sandy, TX, September 19-23. Nine fathers and sons gathered for the camp, and this year’s theme was "Rise Up, Men of God." Cadet LTCs and their fathers received teaching about growing to maturity in Christ based on Colossians 3:1-17. To help the participants learn practical ways to love and serve others, the Cadet fathers and LTCs were engaged in training in many first responder skills. ALERT Harvey Deployment Update
After Hurricane Harvey slammed into the Texas coast and stalled over Houston and Louisiana in late August, ALERT began assisting with clean-up and recovery efforts. Teams have gone to several locations in Texas, including Sour Lake, Victoria, Santa Fe, and Houston. The ALERT men have been involved in removing downed trees, hauling logs, raking yards, tarping roofs, and cleaning out damaged homes. Read more. . .
Families Encouraged at the Green Lake Family Conference
More than 360 individuals gathered at the Green Lake Conference Center in Wisconsin from September 5–9 for this year’s fourth Family Conference. The wonderful weather, scenic surroundings, comfortable lodging, like-minded fellowship, and solid Biblical teaching were among the contributing factors that made the final Family Conference of the year a highlight for so many attendees.
