On November 11, 1918, the Axis and Allied troops signed an armistice (temporary suspension of hostilities) that began at 11 o’clock in the morning. This marked the beginning of the end of WWI. One year later, on November 11, 1919, the United States celebrated Armistice Day for the first time. This day sought to honor those men who had fought in the war. New Biblical Character Illustrated Curriculum Available Now!
Since January of 2016, online character lessons corresponding with IBLP’s Biblical Character calendar have been available for free download at iblp.org/character. Now, the 2018 Biblical Character Illustrated Calendar will have a corresponding printed children’s curriculum! Men's Conference Coming in January! 
In Deuteronomy 6, God instructs parents to demonstrate His love to their children and teach His words diligently. Parents are commanded to “teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up” (Deuteronomy 6:7). Studies have shown that fathers play a critical role in passing faith in God on to their children. Sadly, in this day and age, many fathers have neglected this responsibility, dropping the torch of passing on the faith. Patch the Pirate Speaks at Family Camp!
“Go Ye Into All the World” was the theme for IAA’s annual Family Camp this year. More than 950 people came to the campus in Big Sandy, Texas, October 14–20 for an encouraging and relaxing week filled with enjoyable activities, Biblical messages, and blessed uplifting fellowship. Families came from as far as California, Washington state, Wisconsin, and Florida to participate in the Family Camp. Learn more. . .
Texas Church Hosts First Journey to the Heart for Congregations
The first Church Journey to the Heart was held September 30–October 8, 2017. A traditional Journey to the Heart requires the participants traveling to a Journey location. With a Church Journey to the Heart, the Journey staff travels to the host church. This first Church Journey was held in Burnet, Texas—a small town in the beautiful Texas hill country. About a dozen participants eagerly gathered to seek the Lord together. Learn more. . .
