Gil Bates, Peter Magnuson, and others plan to join us February 7–9, 2019, in Oak Brook, Illinois, for a men’s conference. The messages shared will inspire and encourage men in their walk with the Lord, in being leaders at home, and in serving Christ. The close proximity to both major Chicago airports makes this destination very convenient for travel to the Midwest. With this weekend conference occurring toward the beginning of the year, hopefully men will begin 2019 with a great start in being all they can be for the Lord and in advancing His Kingdom. Watch the December Message of the Month!
During the month of December, many families around the world celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The greatest gift ever given is the gift of salvation, made possible through the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ. Through Him "all things work together for good" (Romans 8:28a). As we understand the loving goodness of God, we can accept each circumstance in our lives as a gift from Him. Sometimes, however, His "good gifts" come in the rather strange “wrapping paper” of difficulties and problems. This month’s message will have you laughing at how we finite beings think we have the ability to handle difficult situations. Listen as Larry Guthrie shares about "Lessons That Come in Strange Wrapping Paper." Watch the message on Embassy Media! |
| Prisoners Find “Freedom” in Christ!Words can hardly describe the wonder and joy of what God did on the Fall Prison Journey! Approximately 60 volunteers shared the love of Christ to more than 250 inmates in 6 different institutions. The Spirit’s moving in these inmates was evident as we saw Him saving them, setting them free from things that bound them, and giving them a hunger for His Word. At the completion of the Prison Journey, testimony time with the volunteers lasted for about two hours as worker after worker shared what they saw God doing. Here for your encouragement and continued prayers are some testimonies of what God did on this most recent Prison Journey. Read more . . .
