Subject: Free Message: "In Every Thing" by Nathan Johnson

What if we could live without any worry or anxiety?

MESSAGE OF THE MONTH

In Every Thing

Nathan Johnson

We all face trials and pressures in life. Many people react in frustration, becoming anxious and worried when life doesn’t go their way. Is this the Biblical approach, or is there a better way? In this free Message of the Month, Nathan Johnson presents an alternative to anxiety and worry. Through illustrations and word pictures, Nathan encourages us to view difficulties and hardships differently. Rather than being anxious, believers ought to respond Biblically by allowing every single situation to impel them toward a closer walk with Christ.

A SPECIAL NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT

This month marks five years since we first began releasing a Message of the Month selection! We praise God for the encouragement and blessing He has brought into so many of our lives through these powerful speakers and their messages.

To celebrate this milestone, we’ve created a selection of messages spanning across all five years of this Message of the Month series. They are available to for viewing free of charge duing the months of September and October.

We hope these messages will be a refreshing time for each of us to be reminded of the truths of God’s Word highlighted in the Messages of the Month over the past five years. If you have a moment, please reply to this email with a testimony of how God has used any of these messages in your life, or simply let us know your favorite one! We appreciate hearing from you.

COMMAND OF CHRIST

Fear Not

“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

MATTHEW 10:28

In Matthew 10:28, Jesus gives the command to Fear Not. But have you ever noticed the second part of this verse: “. . . but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell”? In this latter part, Jesus actually gives us a critical key to conquering the fear of man — a fear of God.

But what’s the difference between having a fear of God and a fear of man? Fear can be motivated by one of two things: truth or deception. The fear of God is based on the truth of Who He is, and produces love, honor, and respect. The fear of man is based upon the lies that we believe about ourselves and others that are not in accordance with the Word of God. This fear produces insecurity, distrust, and anxiety.
