| Families Learn Together at the Northwoods August Family Conference
On Monday, August 26th, the Northwoods Conference Center bustled to life as one family after another arrived for a week of sweet fellowship, fun memories, and spiritual growth. Michigan welcomed them well, for what some call “the best time of year in the Upper Peninsula,” with crisp mornings, sunny afternoons, breathtaking sunsets, and even some glimpses of the northern lights. | September Message of the Month:Life Again
How would you complete this sentence: "Greater than any craving for food and water is…”? John Van Gelderen recently addressed this question at the Family Conference hosted at the picturesque Northwoods Conference Center. His message, “Life Again,” described how Christ came to give us life, and that life more abundantly. In his message, John states: "Greater than any craving for food and water is the deep longing within the soul of many of God’s children to be like Jesus—to be holy and victorious over evil and to be loving and effective in service."
