Asalamu Alaikum, Friend,
On March 12, 2020, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins issued a State of Emergency for Dallas County; he also issued an Order prohibiting or recommending against certain types of large gatherings. Dallas County Health and Human Services also issued an advisory regarding social distancing measures. Links to these documents are at the bottom of this notice.
In complying with this Order; in following the declaration by AMJA; after consulting with several medical professionals and religious scholars; and out of an overall abundance of caution, the IANT Board of Directors and Imam Shpendim resolve the following for IANT and the Collins Musallah: - All prayers, activities, and programs are cancelled until further notice;
- Jumuah for this Friday, March 13, will not occur (you may pray Dhur at home instead);
- The buildings will be closed off to the general public; and
- IQA classes will be dismissed at 12 PM on March 13.
Please do not attempt to visit IANT or the Collins Musallah as you will be unable to access the buildings, except for IQA students to attend class, and IQA parents to pick up their children when school is dismissed.
We understand this may inconvenience members of our congregation. However, large community gatherings serve as high-risk areas for transmission, and it is important that we work together to ensure the well-being and health of each other and our extended community.

We wish you the best of health and prosperity. May Allah SWT keep us all safe, and may He support the global community in successfully combating the spread of COVID-19. Ameen.
