Dear alumni,

I was contacted by Cpl. Peter Janowski (Unit 30) about a unique humanitarian need in the West Bank. As you know, Israel was attacked by Hamas on October 7, and Israel declared war on Hamas shortly after. At the time, Peter was in Israel working with the organization HaYovel which was assisting the settlers in different Jewish communities with the fall grape harvest. Due to the attack, HaYovel has a dire need for men to help serve in the many logistical and non-armed security tasks in the West Bank as they help with Operation Ittai. We obviously cannot deploy our battalion or staff to meet this need, but I offered to let our alumni know about the need, and connect them with HaYovel to see if any of our alumni can be of assistance at this time. They are looking for up to 20 men who can provide supplies and unarmed security resources to the local municipalities and residents, and need a commitment of 1 month from each man.
