Attention all young men 17 and older:
Are you looking for one more adventure
after high school before settling into college or a job? Interested in getting a grip on how to handle finances?
Wrestling with serious moral battles or addictions that are pulling you down
spiritually and want freedom? Considering approaching a young lady’s dad about
a relationship? Struggling finding purpose and direction in life and
needing a good dose of camaraderie with guys your age for a couple of
weeks?
If any of the above resonates with
you, consider joining me on a trip to the Northwoods of upper Michigan (the former
home of ALERT) for two weeks of adventure and study. The experience is known as
Conqueror 101 and the dates for this year are July 10 through 24. The
experience addresses not only everything listed above, but also includes some
great hiking, exploring the shores of beautiful Lake Superior, some off-the-trail
waterfall exploration, lake activities, fishing and just hanging out.
Young men urgently need to strengthen
their relationship with Christ and prepare to respond properly to the
challenges of life. Conqueror 101 can meet those needs in a way that
will impact every young man who attends. Space is limited to 12 guys, and the
experience is open to anyone 17 and over. If you are interested, make sure to
register early, and consider finding a brother or buddy to attend with you. If
you’re a former ALERT guy, I can’t think of an event that would fit better with
your present position in life as well as an opportunity perhaps to encourage
someone else along the way.
