Hello Friends,

Did you know that the number one reason men either do not come to ALERT or do not stay for additional training at ALERT is due to the cost of training? The average cost for a man to graduate from ALERT after completing all three phases of training is $15,500. For many young men and their families, that cost is prohibitive.

Our goal is that no one who is interested in training at ALERT would be prevented due to the training costs. The primary way that we can assist men in covering the cost of training is through our ALERT Student Scholarship Fund. Each dollar donated towards scholarships goes 100% to help cover the training costs of a man in training. Thanks to generous donors, in both 2021 and 2022 we were able to give out over $20,000 in scholarships each year to men in all three phases of training. These scholarships on average covered about 20% of the cost of that training phase. We would love to be able to increase the number of scholarships we give out, and also increase the award amount of each scholarship in 2023.

By contributing towards ALERT scholarships you can make a difference in a young man’s life next year. The impact of that difference will last the rest of his life.
