The second reminder is regarding Conqueror 101—a two week retreat for guys 17 and over held in the beautiful Northwoods of upper Michigan July 1-15. (Please note: those dates do not include travel time if you ride up with us from Texas. More on that below.) Our emphasis will be an intense focus on what a man of God looks like, and our Bible studies and devotional times will be centered around this theme, utilizing books and videos that will bring these thoughts into focus. And, as anyone that has been to the Northwoods knows, you’ll find great opportunities for hiking, canoeing, kayaking down rivers, fishing, and just about anything else guys who love the outdoors do in settings like this. 

We have been doing these retreats for three years now, and this year I’m adding a special opportunity onto the program. If you’re a dad that would like to sign up for one or two weeks of the program, give me a call and we’ll see if we can work that out. I believe the material we cover and the times of interaction could be of special benefit, and provide a unique bonding experience for your and your son(s). The cost for the two weeks is $800 and that includes all meals, lodging and materials. Transportation from Big Sandy, TX is available for a limited number of guys. An airport pickup in either Dallas and/or Chicago is also a possibility, but those details would need to be discussed by phone. For all transportation questions, please give me a call.
