This quarter I have been memorizing the book of Galatians as part of the Battalion weekly requirements for memorizing scripture. As I was listening to it today, it struck me how severe Paul is in his demand for accuracy in preaching the Gospel. “If we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.” (Gal 1: 8-9, ESV). Please pray for each one of the officers and volunteer leaders that we would accurately preach the Gospel to our men. Not a false gospel of works, or of external performance, or promises of prosperity, or a limited gospel with extra rules and requirements, but the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. As Paul said, there is no other Gospel.
