One of the things ALERT is known for is its vocational training in public service fields such as firefighting, emergency medicine, SCUBA, and tech rescue. While one of our goals is to provide men with excellent training that will prepare them to excel in their careers, our "end game" is so much more than that. We aim to train men for life—to prepare them to take on the rigors and challenges of whatever God calls them to with Christ-like character. That's why we focus on things such as selflessness, spiritual disciplines, humility, and diligence. This is one of the things that sets ALERT apart from other public service trade schools.
