This quote from C.S. Lewis sums up why camaraderie is such an important part of the ALERT Ethos. Just over a week ago, I watched as 24 young men graduated from ALERT. Their parting handshakes and hugs said it all. Many have found genuine friendships that will last a lifetime. Why? Because they have walked through the same training, discipleship, and experiences together. They may have come in feeling alone, but they leave as friends who are passionate about influencing their world for Christ.
