In order to effectively influence their world for Christ, young men need real connection with Godly friends and mentors. One unique aspect of our training at ALERT is the shared experiences that our instructors and students have, which help build those relationships. Because we live and train together, we better learn to experience joy with or grieve with one another. We are more apt to be there for one another, and even if we have not spent much time together, we still feel a sense of connection and brotherhood with each other. That is the beauty of our model of training, and the bond that shared experiences creates.
