At ALERT we believe that only the Gospel transforms a man. I recently had someone question that statement with an incredulous “nothing else can help people?” While we recognize that other things can offer help, true transformation takes an act of God. Any other help that can be sought or given may be effective in this temporal world; however, the transformation Christians seek is eternal life in the image of Christ Jesus our King. It is not about us living a better life here and now, instead, we seek to glorify God by becoming more like Christ. And that is only possible through the Gospel.

  • Basic Training is doing survival training this week

  • Pray for the health of the Battalion and Basic Training leadership as they put in long hours each week

  • Pray for the EMTs to have opportunities for gospel conversations while they are out doing clinicals in Longview
