Here at ALERT, a large part of our training is focused on the idea of being "Strong to Serve”. That is our motto, and we strive to make service a part of everyday life for our students. Serving others helps focus a man as he seeks to pursue Christ and follow His example. While Jesus was on earth, he said he came to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). Jesus gave us the perfect picture of what it means to serve selflessly, focused on the good of those being served, to the glory of God. As we pursue him, may he give us the humility to follow his example."
