Your Week #5 Challenge Awaits...

This month's challenge has a "compassion" theme. Let's explore what that could mean for you...

The energy flowing in for May requires us to use more compassion than ever before; this is compassion towards ourselves and compassion towards others.

This month we are being asked to show ourselves compassion and others compassion as they too may be facing challenging moments this month.

There are 3 types of opportunities that will be prevalent this month:

  1. Karmic - Karmic loops are blessings guiding us to be aligned with our higher selves. If they appear to us in a negative way then it is an opportunity for growth so the karmic loop can shift towards the positive. If it appears in the positive then we have the opportunity to recognize the blessing and receive it with love and appreciation.

  2.  As Above So Below - The time is now to learn how to ground ourselves using nature's healing energies while allowing ourselves to connect and receive infinite knowledge from the Divine. (Hygge helps us do this!) Lean into this method to help you through each challenging moment this month.

  3. Gently Speak with Love - It is important to let those bottled up feelings and thoughts out. It is healing to be able to do this. Allow yourself to speak gently to yourself as you release, and grow. Speak words that will honor yourself and others this month. Pause before reacting and please remember that where judgment resides, love cannot exist.

Compassion is needed more than ever this month and with this challenge, we can find ways to support each other through it.

Week #1's challenge was to notice when you are holding onto something that isn't making life easier. These are the things we find ourselves being triggered about. Where we find ourselves clenching our fists when something is noticed or said, or holding our breath as we wait for something else to happen. Did you notice these moments and ask yourself, or God, what you are being asked to let go of?

Week #2's challenge was to allow yourself to find balance within your life. Balance is often thought of as equal time between moments, but they are moments that bring a sense of fulfillment and balance to our energies. Did you use your hyggekrog to help you bring balance or reflect on how to bring more balance for you?

Week #3's challenge was to know that you are supported, and embraced in God's love through everyone moment. When things are challenging or when you don't know why something is happening, dig deep and have the compassion for yourself to feel God's love in those moments.

Last week's challenge was to show yourself compassion by looking at how much balance you have within your life, then try to find ways to bring more balance to it.

This week's challenge is to reflect on the natural gifts your family lineage may have shared with you, and explore how that may have been passed on to you. Did you have someone in your ancestral lineage that was an author, poet, painter, or healer? Did they naturally gravitate to teaching others?

As we allow ourselves to listen to those nudges to create or do new things, we may find that ancestors before us had those gifts as well. Get curious and explore this week!

You may be wondering how this week's challenge relates to compassion. Well, often we discount our own talents because we think those ancestral gifts missed us. What if it didn't but old beliefs stopped you from trying with a child-like curiosity? What if someone's own misguided opinions limited what was possible for you?

Explore. Create. Have fun.

Send yourself enough compassion and love to do this for yourself.

The hyggekrog and God's love are the prescriptions for helping you through the next few weeks. Allow yourself to lean on Him and feel Him embrace you in those moments you need to feel the love He has for you.

Until next time, see you in the Simply Hygge Facebook group!
