Subject: Week #4 Sept Hygge Challenge

It's Hygge Time!

Your Week #4 Challenge Awaits...

This month's challenge has a "creative" theme. Let's explore what that could mean for you...

This month's theme is about being "creative". It will be about creatively exploring what YOU need to bring more simplicity, balance, and connection within your life. September isn't always an easy month because there is a pull to naturally slow down within nature, but the changes to schedules often don't mimic what nature is telling us to do.

This is where looking within to see what we need to bring more simplicity, balance, and connection helps. The trick is trying to be creative about it, without complicating it.

In week #1, I challenged you to reflect on your life, and notice where the imbalance is, then ask yourself what can you do to bring more balance and get creative. The "go-to" hygge activities you would normally use may not be working as effectively as before...is it time to change them up?

In week #2, I'd asked you to look at the areas you explored last week and start planning or changing things up. If it was a small adjustment, just do it and see what happens. If you enjoyed it or it works for you, great! If not, how can you adjust it a little more?

Last week, I challenged you to get creative with your space. It doesn't need to be a huge change, but I'd like you to make a small change to a space that will bring a little more Hygglig feel to it.

For me, I cleared off our coffee table that tends to collect stuff. Now it holds decorative items that have been given to me for my birthday, such as a vase of flowers. This simple adjustment was enough to bring some calmness into my world.

This week is the week of the full moon. Connecting with nature for healing is important any week, but nature is a natural healing source for our energy. When we are feeling off or out of balance, being in nature naturally helps reset our nervous system. Knowing this, I'd like you to get creative and create space for some natural surroundings this week.

If you are in an urban environment, is there a park you can go to? The space doesn't have to be huge and it could be in your own home (house plants are healing as well).

Whatever, or wherever you choose to be, take the time to connect with nature and allow it to help you release whatever you need to release. I hear my backyard calling me. 😉

Remember - As an added challenge this month, I'd love to connect with you! Feel free to tag me on IG or Facebook Stories to share your Hygge challenge activities. I'd love to celebrate with you!

Until next week, see you in the Simply Hygge Facebook group!

Loads of Love,
