It's Hygge Time!

Your Week #4 Challenge Awaits...

This month's challenge has a "memory" theme. Let's explore what that could mean for you...

This month's theme is around "memories". It will be about making new memories with those you love, remembering old traditions from your childhood and re-igniting them, or possibly creating new traditions.

In week #1, I asked you to explore old memories that resonated as Hygge for you. This could be from your childhood or maybe it is a Hygge Lifestyle tradition you've longed to experience. I asked you to hold onto that feeling you felt while thinking of those experiences and ask yourself how you can bring more of those feelings into your present.

In week #2, I challenged you to expand your possibilities for how you could create memories for yourself and your family. It could be trying something new, or doing something you all enjoy. I even shared how sometimes the "failures aren't failures" because the point of trying something other people enjoy is to connect with them, even if it isn't something you are good at. Laugh and connect with them as they laugh with you.

Last week, I challenged you to create memories by being resourceful. Often we think we can't do something because we don't have "whatever"...but how can you adjust to make it happen? Did you get creative in your plans?

This week, I am going to challenge you to create memories with people outside your home. If you are comfortable, or if there are no social restrictions in place, that might look like a small gathering for close friends or family. Maybe a BBQ, or bonfire would be fun. Or maybe doing an online game night over zoom, or just doing a video chat with old friends you haven't seen in a long time.

Laugh, have fun and create memories this week. I can't wait to see your memories! Today, my daughter is performing at her summer dance intensive and parents can come to watch for parts of the day. I've worked out my schedule to flex my time around those moments. It truly is a memory I'm looking forward to making happen for both of us.

Remember - As an added challenge this month, I'd love to connect with you! Feel free to tag me on IG or Facebook Stories to share your Hygge challenge activities. I'd love to celebrate with you!

Until next week, see you in the Simply Hygge Facebook group!

Loads of Love,

Jacquie
