Your Week #2 Challenge Awaits...

This month's challenge has an "intentional self-care for balance" theme. Let's explore what that could mean for you...

The energy flowing in for Sept is guiding us to choose peace in our life. It is about doing the inner reflection to know how you want to show up in life and within your relationships. It is also about knowing what you want your relationship with yourself to look like.

This month's challenge is going to assist you with this in different ways. To intentionally use self-care for balance one needs to desire peace and harmony above all forms of chaos and destruction. This won't be about pushing your feelings aside and ignoring them with a fluffy "high vibrational" thought, but it will be about releasing the old ways of doing things so your life can calm down and you can find balance intentionally through those self-care moments.

Week #1's challenge was twofold: one notice where there is an imbalance within your life, and two, use your hyggekrog to reflect upon what is important, who is essential, and what daily tasks need attention and which ones don't. We tend to feel most out of balance when we are the ones always giving or, let's be honest, always taking. When this happens our soul hurts. So let's reflect within our hyggekrog (self-care spot needed to make us feel comfortable about what we are going to explore). Seeing where we are always giving is easier to recognize than the ones where we are always taking. The taking may have been unintentional and needed to survive a rough patch but the routine may be creating an imbalance within your relationships, and it certainly is impacting your soul. Deep down our souls want to feel empowered and in balance. It can't be when we are always giving in some areas and then always taking in others. I'd like you to do the intentional self-care to find ways to bring more balance to your life, then start doing them this week.

Last week's challenge was to let go of the worries, stresses, and concerns about the things that haven't been sorted out so far. Often when we are looking for answers, seeking the right solution to a problem, we place an expectation that the solution must look a specific way or come in a specific period of time, or via a specific form of media (meditation, prayer, thoughts, etc). But the messages that bring clarity come when the divine time is right. They come when we allow ourselves to let go of the expectations, worries, and stresses. They come when we trust that they will come when the timing is right, and in the best way possible.

This week's challenge is to intentionally create space to review and reflect. There is energy that feels like something big is in the works. Many, globally, are feeling it. It can make a person feel like they need to tie up all the loose ends. Be mindful of how you are doing this. Are you doing it out of fear? Or are you guided to do it? There is a big difference and the former will send you into overwhelm and burnout quickly! Instead of being in constant action, I'm challenging you to do the most inspired action for your well-being and asking you to intentionally pause and reflect upon your life.

What goals do you have? What dreams have been added recently? How do you want to show up in life? What are some plans you can make to step toward these dreams and goals? What changes can you do today to help you show up the way you want to show up in life?

These are just some questions you can ask yourself. In the Hygge It! Course you utilize the Life Goal Journal to help capture your big picture vision for your life. If you bought the course, pull your journal open and use it during your moments of reflection.
