Your Week #1 Challenge Awaits...

This month's challenge has an "intentional self-care for balance" theme. Let's explore what that could mean for you...

The energy flowing in for Sept is guiding us to choose peace in our life. It is about doing the inner reflection to know how you want to show up in life and within your relationships. It is also about knowing what you want your relationship with yourself to look like.

This month's challenge is going to assist you with this in different ways. To intentionally use self-care for balance one needs to desire peace and harmony above all forms of chaos and destruction. This won't be about pushing your feelings aside and ignoring them with a fluffy "high vibrational" thought, but it will be about releasing the old ways of doing things so your life can calm down and you can find balance intentionally through those self-care moments.

This week's challenge is twofold: one notice where there is an imbalance within your life, and two, use your hyggekrog to reflect upon what is important, who is essential, and what daily tasks need attention and which ones don't. We tend to feel most out of balance when we are the ones always giving or, let's be honest, always taking. When this happens our soul hurts. So let's reflect within our hyggekrog (self-care spot needed to make us feel comfortable about what we are going to explore). Seeing where we are always giving is easier to recognize than the ones where we are always taking. The taking may have been unintentional and needed to survive a rough patch but the routine may be creating an imbalance within your relationships, and it certainly is impacting your soul. Deep down our souls want to feel empowered and in balance. It can't be when we are always giving in some areas and then always taking in others. I'd like you to do the intentional self-care to find ways to bring more balance to your life, then start doing them this week.

I love you all. I'm currently seeing this imbalance in my life. I have spent many months (um... years) trying to build my business, and some of that time was working outside the home and this business. During that time, my husband took on cooking meals and getting groceries. It was an easy release for me while working 70 hours a week between the two jobs. However, when life shifted it continued and I've been feeling the nudge to pitch in and make this a co-effort once again. Over the last little while, I will insert myself into the tasks and just help. It's nice to do this together. In fact, last night after my group session, I stepped into the kitchen and helped prep dinner. Making this meal with our loving energy was satisfying and I found myself appreciating the meal more.

You've got this, and if you need additional support please reach out. I'm sending you all love.
