The Hygge Lifestyle is very aligned with an intentional lifestyle. It takes you intentionally choosing to use your Hyggekrog for comfort in trying times. It is intentionally choosing to be more present within your relationships, and intentionally choosing to change things up when you find yourself bored in some way.
We are beginning a new year and this week is the week of the New Moon! Many of us that are connected to nature, are finding this moon energy helping us look at our big vision for our life and explore our short-term goals for this year.
The Ultimate Life Goal Journal is an extremely helpful tool for this exercise (available on my website shop...and also a free bonus item for the Hygge It! Course). For this week's challenge, I'd like you to explore some of the Hygge Lifestyle principles below and try to set some short term goals on: how you'd like your life to feel like, what you can do to bring more Hygge in your life, and paint the picture of what matters to you this year.
(more detail is given in the course so if you have purchased it, please use it to help give you more depth 😉...if you haven't purchased yet but would like to click this link)
Hygge helps align your life with your inner self that is often pushed aside for "other priorities" or out of fear. It brings comfort to us so we can feel safe enough to venture down the road of getting to know that person once again.
This week have a look at some of the areas of your life to see what you can do this year to bring in more Hygge, then explore further with the three items listed above.
Areas to consider: Connecting to nature -- natural elements and using nature's cycles Self-care routines -- physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing (what can you do to take better care of YOU?) Routines or Activities to bring joy Allowing Fashion to bring joy to you Recognizing boredom and changing things up Relationships -- with others and yourself Experiencing your meals Creating memories Community
