Hi Friend,

I know it's been a while since you've heard from us, so I'm sending you a
quick note to update you on all the buzz over here at Humbees!

First order of buzzness...

The name change from "Humvees to Honeybees" to Humbees
was made because we received a cease and desist letter from the
attorneys for AM General who trademarked the colloquial term Humvee
which is in reference to their HMMWV (aka High Mobility Multipurpose
Wheeled Vehicle)...

Tongue twisters aside, we decided to quickly resolve the situation by
changing our name to avoid all the legal threats. As a small, veteran
owned honey farm our goal is to provide the best bee products to our
supporters while assisting bee populations and supporting the health of
the environment.

At the end of the day we think Humbees is a much shorter, sweeter, and
"more completer" name with an easier to remember website at
www.Humbees.org We hope you like the change!

Secondly, our bees are still currently enjoying the nectar flow in the hills
of Tujunga, CA! All that extra rain we got this past year has really made
our bees happy and busy!

Lastly, keep an eye out for some cool new t-shirt designs coming out! All
proceeds help us support our small farm operation and raise awareness
for the plight of the honeybee populations around the world.
