Yesterday while we were eating lunch together someone stole the bag containing the offering from that morning’s worship gathering.
We know. A real bummer.
The bag contained about $190 in cash plus several checks and a few pledge forms for our 2016 budget.
A police report has been filed regarding the stolen property. If you have any information, please contact the church office so we can pass on any details to the police. The offering was in a blue bag with a zipper enclosure. It’s last known location was in the main hall near the art pieces that depict the grape harvest.
If you put a check in the offering yesterday, it’s probably a good idea to contact your bank to cancel it. Your generosity is crucial to the day-to-day functioning of our church, so if you still want to contribute that amount please bring a new check or as always you can contribute online here.
