With the season well underway, it is with great pleasure that we contact you all with some news and tidbits from Quinta do Lago. This Summer saw the arrival of some new restaurants in Quinta do Lago and the renovation of a classic: Bovino Steakhouse is now a regular for our many guests, complementing the offer we have in our Brisa do Mar restaurant, which focuses on the more local cuisine and specializes in fish and seafood, and Casa Velha was completely remodeled but keeps serving fantastic French cuisine, to the highest standard!
From the 12th to the 20th of September, we will have the pleasure to host a distinct exhibition by Dutch artist Hans Von Horck, entitled “The Power of Colour and Myth”. It will be an exhibition unlike others we’ve hosted and that we hope many guests will have the pleasure of visiting.
This is also the time of the year when we announce our Amateur Golf Challenge, which celebrates its 20th anniversary! First played in 1995, this is the hotel’s most prestigious golfing week and, as in the past, one we hope we will share with many of our regular guests; and because such an anniversary cannot go unnoticed, this year’s event has social and environmental aspect to it, as well as a special prize for the golfer who wins the overall competition!
Last but not least, I want take this opportunity to thank the many guests we had the pleasure of welcoming to Hotel Quinta do Lago this year: it’s been one of the best in recent memory, to our great satisfaction, and an encouragement to continue to improve our service and make for many memorable stays of new and returning guests!
