Dear Friends and Guests,
With the season well underway and a very busy peak season almost behind us, it is with great pleasure that I contact you with some news and tidbits from Hotel Quinta do Lago.
Early in the year, a number of renovations and refurbishment were introduced and we couldn't wait for guests to provide feedback on the new room decor or the complete renovation of the Laguna bar, so it was with great pleasure that we received praises for the new designs! We took this feedback as an encouragement and cannot wait to show guests all we have planned for next year…
This is also the time of the year when we announce our yearly Amateur Golf Challenge, which celebrates its 21st anniversary. First played in 1995, this is the hotel’s most prestigious golfing week and, as in the past, one we hope we will share with many of our regular guests. Last years event had the first hole in one, so we are looking forward to what this year's event will bring us! Has we did last year, our Amateur Golf Challenge will continue to play have a social responsibility aspect to it, so for every golfer in the event, a donation of 100€ will be awarded to a local charity on behalf of all that participate!
Last but not least, we want take this opportunity to let all our guest and friends now that this year we once again won two awards from World Travel Awards, including the award for Europe's Leading Beach Resort for the second year. We would like to thank the many guests we had the pleasure of welcoming to Hotel Quinta do Lago: it’s been one of our best years and, to our great satisfaction, we will continue to do our best to make all stays in our hotel memorable to new and returning guests!
