Dear Guests and Friends,
With the first quarter of 2014 already behind us and following the success of 2013, it is with great pride and optimism that we look at the year ahead.
After being recognised as Mediterranean's Leading Hotel in 2012, by the World Travel Awards, last year we were awarded Europe's Leading Golf Resort award and nominated for World’s Leading Golf Resort, recognising the quality of service and the continued effort to surpass guests expectations. In total, we’ve now received 42 nominations and 9 World Travel Awards, so with the nominations for the 2014 awards now open, we look forward to receiving notice of what this year will bring us.
I am also pleased to inform that we renovated our Brisa do Mar Restaurant, improving on what was already a guest favourite. Although many small details have changed and a complete renovation of our menus in underway, I can assure that the same care and service that have made us one of the finest hotels in Portugal was taken in consideration during this renovation and we hope you will be as pleased with the result as we are.

The World Travel Awards acknowledge and recognise excellence in the global travel and tourism industry, being hailed as the ‘Oscars of the travel industry' by the global media and regarded as the very highest achievement that a travel product could hope to receive.
At this years European World Travel Awards ceremony, the service of the hotel and the exceptional quality of the golf courses in Quinta do Lago were once again recognised, with hotel winning the awards for Europe's Leading Golf Resort and Portugal's Leading Resort.
