Since our last newsletter a lot of things has happened. As you might have noticed, we haven’t been posting as much on social media, as we usually do and there is a reason for that.
On April 19th Facebook decided to close our access to our FB page Hearts & Horses Hästakademi, which we’ve been using for the last 10 years to educate and inspire. FB gave us reason and no explanation and even though, we have been in contact with them on and off the last month, they say that there is nothing they can do. The page is still live and you will still have access to the page, but we do not.
So, we have been forced to take another approach and you know that nothing is as bad, that it isn’t good for something. 😊
So today we launch our new direction and brand. Hearts & Horses - Your Horse Psychologist.
With a brand new website: www.yourhorsepsychologist.com where you can find everything you needand everything we offer now.
The site is very easy to navigate, has new and fresh colors and is in English but worry not. In the future we will have a similar site in Swedish as well. But we are now out in a more international market and have a larger international audience now so that is why we are changing to English. You can still ask questions in Swedish, Norwegian or Danish, and we will answer in either Swedish or Danish.
Dont worry. Hearts & Horses is still the main thing here.
Since we don’t have access to our old Facebook page anymore, we will ask you to Like & Follow us on the new Facebook site:

where we will post about new blog posts, videos, YouTube lives etc.
Some larger changes we will make also:
Instead of having live video trainings on Facebook as we did before, we will have them only on YouTube and put them up on the Blog on our new website for you to see them there. Easy to find and only one place to look for them, so go to our YouTube and subscribe to be notified on when new videos are to see.

On our new website: www.yourhorsepsychologist.com you now have direct access to the podcasts in the tab “Books & Podcasts” A podcast where we discuss horse psychology, horse development and cooperation-based horse training.
We are also changing the name of the podcast to “Your Horse Psychologist”…
On the website, we even have a calendar now, where you can see when we will be in your area with a clinic or a Masterclass.

As mentioned in our last newsletter we had to make a tough decision about not having Linda coming in September. It was simply too expensive and too big a risk for us, to have about 250.000kr “hanging” with not that many people signed on, Maybe enough would have booked in the last month but it was simply too risky.
However, we are still going to have an event, and we are grateful for all those that are still coming. We have unfortunately received different kinds of responses to Linda not coming, both in emails and on Facebook, and some even very negative and condemning and aggressive. That is very sad and unnecessary, because the only thing we are trying to do is to create great events, and opportunity for people.
We have already lost almost 150.000kr on the event that we are not getting back, so that is the reason we have given people the opportunity to cancel or stay and bring a friend. The event was non-refundable which it clearly stated on the website, but we have decided that you can still cancel the event if you don’t want to get great education, inspiration and entertainment from Mikkel.
The last day for cancelling will be May 31. 2023. After May 31 there will be no more refunds or cancellations. If you still don’t want to, or cannot go to the event, you can watch the full recording of it afterwards or you can sell your ticket.
Remember that your ticket is now a 2 for 1 ticket. To all of you who have cancelled or want to cancel before June 1st, we will still refund your ticket after the event in September. Simply because of the loss we already have suffered.
But think about this. It is only 1500kr and you have already reserved the date. You don’t want to miss this. It is a small investment on your part, but a huge investment on our part. We are not getting our money back from Linda or any of the other places we have paid for already.
However, if you like to bring another person, for free, you can still do that. Please just inform us the name and email of the person up to 2 weeks prior to the event. We need to know in order for safety reasons and other administrative reasons, such as toilet facilities, food etc.. 😊
We are still going to have a great event, with a few fun surprises and you will learn things that are normally not talked about. 😊 So, bring more people and lets have some fun together. In June we will get back to all remaining participants with more info.
This Sunday, we are having “Open House” here at Rosentorp in Hässleholm, more info on that on our website. And in a few weeks we will be going to Esbjerg in Denmark for a two-day clinic and the week after that, we are going to Suldalsosen in Norway, also for a two-day clinic. It seems like we are going to be on the road this summer. 😊 If you are any of these places, come and say hi.
