I expect most of you are still regrouping from the holidays and today may be the day you are trying to gear up for the new year? No better way then to join with other likeminded people and talk it through.
Ralph and I went on a little sabattical last week and decided we were going to focus on a more healthy lifestyle. We have fortunately figured out how to manage the alcohol and drug challenge but food....well that's another story! And exercise?? Ugh... not very often.
So we are excited to be able to work with others who are working to make lifestyle changes that will last. If we can all make it 90 days without "relapse" we have a much better chance at making it 120 days, 365 days, the rest of our lives.
If you didn't watch my 5 Fing things we are going to do this year I ask you to watch it before our meeting today so we can talk about it. The other thing I would like to see you do is to consider WHY you are doing this? What is your motivation? Where do you want to be in 12 weeks? or 6 months? or a year? It matters and without that goal in sight it is easier to keep going.
