Homeschool - Blessing or Burden?

When we choose to homeschool our children, we are choosing to disciple our children, not merely educate them. Do you find this a burden or a blessing?

Elisabeth Elliot said “This job has been given to me to do. Therefore, it is a gift. Therefore, it is a privilege. Therefore, it is an offering I may make to God. Therefore, it is to be done gladly, if it is done for Him. Here, not somewhere else, I may learn God’s way. In this job, not in some other, God looks for faithfulness.”

Need to breathe a little life into your homeschooling?

Consider adding in a few board games.

Besides wholesome entertainment, there are a host of reasons why you should play board games with your children and encourage them to play with their siblings…here are just a few reasons:

 Co-operation is the foundation for a board game. We could all do with a bit more skill in this space!

 They increase brain function. Playing stimulates the areas of the brain which are responsible for memory and complex thought processes.

 They teach goal setting and patience in achieving those goals.

 Board games reduce stress and increase laughter which releases endorphins.

 A board game will enhance creativity and problem solving.

 They are a great way to build fond family memories.

Check out the variety of games we have in our shop, all with a South African flavour and for all ages.
