Besides wholesome entertainment, there are a host of reasons why you should play board games with your children and encourage them to play with their siblings…here are just a few reasons:
Co-operation is the foundation for a board game. We could all do with a bit more skill in this space!
They increase brain function. Playing stimulates the areas of the brain which are responsible for memory and complex thought processes.
They teach goal setting and patience in achieving those goals.
Board games reduce stress and increase laughter which releases endorphins.
A board game will enhance creativity and problem solving.
They are a great way to build fond family memories.
