Subject: I have X kids! Homeschooling multiple grades

Dear friend,

I have X kids – can I really do this?

As long as you don't have sextuplets, you can probably cope (alone)!

Multi-level homeschooling is challenging, but it's not an impossible nightmare!

We have 10 children between two families, so we know first hand what it's like!

Sometimes we 'drop a ball’ but we manage!

If you have 6 kids for example and you are NOT replicating school at home, then you don’t need 6 different sets of textbooks for each child and six different lessons plans for each of 6 subjects for each child.

Imagine doing 6 x 6 – you would burn out for sure!

What's the solution?

Join us for our next livestream for our tried and tested secrets for the academic success of multiple grades. Find out how to reduce your load without compromising anything!

On a practical level, here are some more tips:

  • Have regular routines in the home so that the children know what is expected of them at different times of the day. Start with meal times and then the in-between times.

  • Give the smaller children your focused attention first, one-on-one time like cuddling up and reading a story or a craft activity and then they will usually be happy to entertain themselves for some time, while you give attention to the older children.

  • Train your children towards being able to work independently.

  • Train your older children to be helpers in the home, doing chores as part of the family team.

We've got many more valuable, tried-and-tested tips to help you cope better in our exclusive livestream on 28 October.
