Michael New warned about the United Nations
United Nations Treaties? Gun Control? How do you think they'll try to enforce it?
In 1995, SPC Michael New said, "Geography is no defense. If they can force me to wear that blue helmet in Macedonia, they can force me to wear it in New York, or Texas, or California. How long until United Nations troops are patrolling in America?"
The fact is that no "world army" can function in America as long as Americans are well-armed. What's more, we don't need them to. There are too many Americans who would not react politely to blue helmets guarding our highways and infrastructure, imposing martial law. So, what's the typical socialist answer? GUN CONTROL! What many people have not yet figured out is the relationship between freedom and being armed, and how both the military sovereignty issue and the personal right to keep and bear arms are merely head and tail of the same coin.
That's right. Hillary and Barack want to make America a gun-free zone, and they are going to try it now by treaty with the United nations. The Senate is voting as I write this on ratification of that treaty.
On the individual level, they want to disarm you and me. On the national level, they want to disarm our nation, turning our military over to a bunch of corrupt bureaucrats in the United Nations. In both cases, it boils down to the problem of who controls the weaponry. Central Planners cannot trust "the People" to have guns, why they might do something irresponsible!
Of course, we all know how effective "gun-free zones" are. You know, like theaters in Aurora, Colorado. If amongst those people attending the opening of Batman there had been ONE PERSON armed and capable of using his weapon, the death toll would have been much smaller. But liberal politicians have this crazy idea that fewer guns means less crime. The fact is, the opposite is the truth - MORE guns means LESS crime!
And the other side of that coin is that disarmed nations are sitting ducks, whereas nations armed to the teeth are able to resist tyranny. Which is precisely why the liberal politicians (of both parties) are so strongly backing the disarmament of America. That's why the US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency was merged by Bill Clinton into the US State Department, now firmly under the control of Hillary Clinton. The goal was, and is, to disarm America and make our troops available to the United Nations on demand.
The reader will recall that the USA did not go to war in Afghanistan, but the United Nations, with us providing the bulk of the funding and the manpower. American taxpayers foot the bill, and anti-Americans around the world smile and watch us bleed ourselves dry, killing or maiming the cream of another generation, and sinking deeper into a weaker financial position for our nation and our future. None of this is happening by accident. It's happening by a well planned blueprint that's been pursued aggressively from the middle of World War II. The documentation on this is compelling, but only to those who care to read and study.
Treaty Law is the route being taken by politicians, because it's just too hard to get these things done by the Constitutional process. But DO treaty laws trump the Constitution? Today, many people are beginning to realize just WHY SPC Michael New refused to wear a U.N. uniform, refused to deploy under a U.N. general officer, and refused to become a mercenary for the United Nations.
