Europe is going through the most difficult period in decades. Our hearts and thoughts go to all people affected, their families and friends.
I am writing to you from the operational office of Historic Hotels of Europe in the North of Italy, one of the worst affected areas of the country by the pandemic. Even if we live in an unpredictable time, we are confident that we will emerge from this situation soon.
We will continue to be close to you, to update you, to keep in touch. Talking about culture and sharing beautiful hotel stories from their long history or places will let you travel in your mind.
Our continent, in every corner, in every village, city, island, mountain, from north to south, has shown in the past that it knows how to overcome the difficulties of life and history. Historic Hotels have been here for decades, some have even witnessed – or played a role – in the major challenges of the 19th century, and thus managed to remain alive to welcome the future generations. In today’s troubled times on earth, we trust that the Historic Hotels will prove, once more, that they will remain there, and, following a short break, will open their doors for you again.
