August 12, 10:00AM $35 for online section, $100 for skills course for students and birth assistants or $125 for midwives and nurses, text not included
Neonatal Resuscitation is a valuable skill for anyone working in the birth field. The NRP certification is required for midwives and many birth assistant positions. Most other NRP courses teach Neonatal Resuscitation in a hospital setting, but Denise Taylor teaches Neonatal Resuscitation in out-of-hospital settings, which is perfect for natural-birth workers!
This certification has an online section which must be completed BEFORE the hands-on skills portion. The test and e-simulations must be done within 30 days of the class. (Between July 14th and August 11th). Studying for and completing the online portion takes time. We recommend allowing yourself at least 2 weeks to complete the test and e-simulations. You will be given directions on how to access the online portion when you register.
Payment for the hands-on portion of the course is due upon registration. You
can pay by cash, check, money order, or PayPal. Checks and money
orders should be made out to Heritage School of Midwifery, and can be
mailed or dropped off at the school with a note stating your name and which class
you are registering for. To use PayPal, include your PayPal email
address in your RSVP. To register, email Christy Hicks at
MidwiferyHeritage@gmail.com with your name, address and phone number.
The registration and payment deadline is August 1st. Space is VERY limited in this course, so register early!
