If we don’t know how to relax our minds and bodies during the day, how can we expect to do it at night?
When I first started practicing yoga, I never thought it would have anything to do with sleep. I assumed it was just about stretching and working out—nothing more.
At the time, I was like a high-speed train—always rushing forward or completely shut down. I didn’t know how to rest, and I certainly didn’t have any real relaxation skills. The worst part? My mind wouldn’t stop spinning as I tried to fall asleep. I’d wake up exhausted, already running through my to-do list before I even got out of bed.
But everything started to shift when I began practicing yoga and using flower essences. They entered my life at the same time, and together they created a synergy that transformed how I approached balance and productivity (and now, everything in my life).
Because I learned how to feel relaxed in my body—not just collapse into exhaustion - my sleep improved.
Because I started to work with my emotions, not against them— I started to understand myself better, take back my power, and cultivate a sense of calm that carried me through my days and nights.
And here’s the thing I wish someone had told me earlier: Relaxation isn’t sitting the couch or scrolling on your phone. It’s a skill—a powerful one.
Homebody Yoga isn’t just a workout—it’s a work within. Each class incorporates breathwork, yoga postures, and acupressure to support your energy, emotions, and overall well-being.
