You know, I used to believe that balance was just a myth. I would argue with my friends, defending my stance that true balance was unattainable. But as life would have it, it taught me a valuable lesson.


When I started practicing yoga, I realized that I had two modes: full speed ahead or completely crashed out. I'll admit, I even dozed off during savasana because I was so exhausted and my nervous system was kaput. But yoga became a precious gift that helped me regulate my nervous system, breathe deeply, listen to my body and reconnect with myself.


Balance is about embracing both the good and the challenging aspects of life, the moments of bliss and pain. It's not about choosing one over the other but finding harmony in the intertwining of these experiences. It's not a one-size-fits-all concept, and it evolves with each stage of life.


In my yoga classes, I focus on balancing inner listening with movement, strength with stillness, movement with mindfulness, mind with body.


My ultimate goal is for you to feel incredible (grounded, comfortably & totally relaxed) in your own skin. I like to call it "melting bodies". As my favorite part is at the end of class when I see that all the stiffness, soreness, stress has melted away into nothingness. That's why each class is unique, with a consistent blend of strength, opening, awareness, and, of course, balance.

Yang Yoga (18:15 - 19:15): Energize and Strengthen
