Subject: Breaking the chain of pain 💪😘

Hello beautiful,

If something you're thinking about doesn't feel good,
thinking about it for longer is not going to make it feel good or better,
in fact, it will only lead you to feeling worse.

And when you're not feeling good and you start feeling worse, GUESS what happens??

You attract MORE of the low vibe, sticky, icky, painful stuff that you don't want.

Law of the universe, 101: like attracts like.

If you feel low, you attract more people/situations that make you feel low.

Here's an example;

Let's say

  •  you're thinking about all the wrong aspects of _______ (job/relationship/person/situation).

  • you're thinking about all the reasons why you broke up, it didn't work, the other person's faults, the things you don't want, the things you're getting wrong, the stress points in your life, the things that worry you.

  • you're thinking the sadness you feel, the loss, the missing of ______.

Guess what you're going to get more of??

People, situations and things that bring MORE of these physical imitations of what you feel.

You can turn this around, and it is almost as easy as the law itself; like attracts like.

Therefore, if you feel good, you attract more people/situations that make you feel good.

So all you have to do is do more of what feels good and think more about things that feel good. ;)

BUT sometimes it can be tricky to turn yourself around when you're so far down a path of pain.

Here's a couple of steps to BREAK THE PAIN CHAIN:

  1. Firstly, take a few deep breaths and know that you got this. Know that what your feelings can be transformed and that you are not alone.

  2. Identify the core FEELING beneath this low thinking; it could be that you're feeling loss, lack, judgement, rejection, sadness or fear.

And know that it's ok to feel these things.
IMPORTANT: It's actually AWESOME to feel these things ONCE you bring awareness to what you don't want and how you don't want to feel, you can begin to create the new patterns for feeling the opposite.

  3. What does the opposite look like? Play out some different scenarios in your  head, even if they seem absurd. For example, what would it look like if      you decided to be sober, get married, get divorced, move country, change job, move house... sometimes seeing your situation through different eyes can bring in the fresh inspiration you need for new patterns.

  4. What are the activities, situations, experiences that make you feel good?
Write out a list, and don't stop until you hit 20 feel good items.

  5. How can you incorporate more of these feel good items into your hours, days, weeks, months and years.
It's going to feel rather uncomforatable to face the feeling low stuff, and then, it's going to feel uncomfortable to start to do more of the things that make you feel good. You're going to have to
  • establish new habits and new activities that allow you to feel good more often.
  • prioritise these things.
  • think good feeling thoughts more often.
  • feel new, higher levels of happiness.
  • celebrate yourself and feel satisfied.

How about for this week, you made FEELING GOOD be your #1 priority? Can you do it?

Write out that list of items that allow you to feel good, and get started. Drop me a line to let me know what starts to happen for you.
