Friend, I hope that you enjoyed last week's post. And I truly hope that you thought about how you currently define yourself. So, what did you find?
|
|
Do you currently define yourself based on your circumstances? Do you define yourself based on who you think you should be or how others perceive you? Perhaps you define yourself based on what you do? Or do you define yourself based on past mistakes? All of these are methods that we often use to define ourselves. And they're all wrong.
As I've mentioned before, our way of being within the world tends to revolve around how we define ourselves. And if we aren't defining ourselves in synchronization with who we really are, we'll forever be searching for (and never finding) real contentment in life.

|
You're NOT defined by your circumstances or the events that you’re
presented with throughout your life. And you're NOT the mistakes you've made in the
past. Although
these events help to shape you and will inform you during your
life, they aren’t who you are. You are so much more than that.

Today we continue with the second installment of my Truth Series. And we go into how to define yourself. It's time to go deep within to figure out who you truly are. What are your individual needs that must be met in order for you to feel safe and whole? What values must be honored for you to feel complete?
Don't you think it's time you start listening to your inner soul and stop listening to everyone and everything else? For some guidance on how to go deep and truly discover who you are (and why this matters), go directly to my post.
Please let me know what you find - I look forward to hearing from you.
XO,
Heather
