Subject: Letting go of Holiday Perfectionism

Hello Friend

Are you a holiday perfectionist?  I'm guessing that at least some of you are (and if you aren't, you know someone who is).  I've been a holiday perfectionist for years.  And all it brought me was misery (and likely made others miserable as well).

This year I decided to let go of the perfectionism.  And guess what?  I'm much happier as a result.  I even learned some important lessons.  You can read more about it here:

As you read this post, you will learn that I had to let go this Christmas.  And letting go included not posting on my blog (I haven't posted since December 1st).  The holidays are supposed to be a magical and fun time.  Unfortunately,  I haven't traditionally been very good that having fun during the holidays.  So this year I decided to do what I could get done and had time for.  Some things that I enjoy (like this blog) had to go for a time.

I'm back and it is now the end of the year.  I missed writing, so trust me when I say you will be seeing more of me in the new year.

And before I go, I want to wish you a happy and safe New Year's celebration.

Here's to a magical 2017!

Best,

Heather
