Come Out of the Wilderness
|
|
Friend, this week's post is a result of the negativity that we are seeing these days. I'm guessing that you're as tired of it as I am. And because you are a regular reader, I'm willing to bet that you're a glass is half full optimist - like me (or you're at least attempting to be one).

I don't know about you, but I'm having some difficulty being optimistic these days. The constant negativity within our political sphere is all-encompassing. You can't go anywhere without hearing about it or seeing it. I've got some thoughts on this particular topic - as I'm sure you've guessed by now (you can go here to read it now).

We are careening off into the wilderness by making incorrect assumptions about people who have differing opinions than we do and refusing to listen to them in the process. This is dehumanizing and dangerous.

But, of course, I'm not going to give in so easily. No longer will I allow the naysayers and negativity to weigh me down. And I do believe that we can get out of this. We can come out of the wilderness, so to speak, and get back on a productive path. How? Take a look at my new post to get my thoughts.
What do you think about the current political climate? How can we change it? Do we even need to? Let me know your thoughts in the comments to my blog. I truly want to hear what you think - you can add a lot to the conversation.
I look forward to hearing from you.
XO,
Heather
