Subject: Stop doing this to fix a rounded upper back (do THIS instead)

Hi Friend,

Are you looking for effective ways to correct a rounded or slumped upper back?

Have you ever tried correcting a rounded upper spine by bending back over a foam roller? It may not be as useful as we once thought.

Using a foam roller in this way may do more harm than good.

Your upper back is designed to side-bend and rotate (see the blog for visuals to understand).

So if you're looking to get rid of that hump, slump, or rounding of the upper back, it makes more sense to do exercises that work on these movements (side-bending and rotating).

Try working on exercises that focus on these types of movements instead of forcing your spine backwards, where it may not want to go.

We have some written examples (with pictures) on our blog to get you started, in addition to a fully narrated video. Check it out here!
