HERE ARE YOUR ACTION STEPS:
(1) Watch my video above to understand my strategy for requiring these health departments to abide by the law. While we don't expect they will respond to your letter or change their orders, we want them to experience a flood of letters putting then on notice that We The People are on to them and their law-breaking ways. This establishes a record, and then I plan to follow up with legal action, petitioning the court to require the department to adhere to all statutory laws.
(2) Write an actual letter that will be mailed in the mail. (See my sample below. It is written for California, so you will have to adapt it to your own state, or help us here in CA!) You can also send an email, but be sure you send an actual letter.
The reason why we are asking you to write an actual letter and mail it to the state department of health is because we are establishing a record of complaints and making a clear demand for the health department to acknowledge religious and disability rights that are being violated by the public health laws. I then plan to follow up with vigorous legal action petitioning the court to force these departments of health to abide by the law in their orders. I believe the time is ripe for these health departments to be reigned in. NOTE: I will not be requesting the court to declare the "end of the emergency." There is a more IMPORTANT legal goal here: and that is for the court to declare that our rights are intact even in the midst of any "emergency."
(3) Using my sample below, write a personal letter to the California Department of Public Health (or your own state if you prefer) notifying them of their violations of your religious rights by requiring actions and behaviors that violate your freedom of religious expression, as guaranteed, protected and secured under state and federal laws.
Include your own personal stories of how these public health orders have affected you adversely, whether at work, your kid's school, medical settings, travel, etc.
Then please email us what you write so we can compile it in our records as we take further legal action: support@thehealthyamerican.org Put "Public Health" in the subject line so we can note your comments.

RE: VIOLATIONS OF CIVIL RIGHTS IN PUBLIC HEALTH ORDERS
I'm writing to inform you of several civil rights violations you are committing in your public health orders related to Covid.
As the Director of a department of the State of California, you have taken an oath to uphold the Constitution of California and the Constitution of the United States.
Your issuance of covid public health orders (without exemptions for religious beliefs) are in violation of several state and federal laws including:
Gov Code 37100
Gov Code 12940
Gov Code 12926(q)
Civil Code 43
Civil Code 51
Civil Code 46
HSC 24171
HSC 24172
California Constitution, Article 1, Section 1 and Section 4
Title VII and Title IV of the U.S. Civil Rights Act
The California Religious Freedom Act of 2017, which affirms:
SECTION 1.
(c) California must uphold the protection of religious freedom enshrined in the United States Constitution for all of its people, and the state has a moral obligation to protect its citizens from religious persecution.
(d) Section 4 of Article I of the California Constitution guarantees the free exercise and enjoyment of religion without discrimination or preference.
Your actions have caused me harms, including [describe your personal stories here]:
I (along with millions of other people of faith in California) have been persecuted for my religious beliefs and have been unlawfully discriminated against and prevented from appearing in public places and partaking in normal public life, such as shopping, dining, getting required medical services, participating equally in the workplace and partaking in recreational activities because I do not veil my face or participate in the deception of testing my body to see if I am sick.
My sincerely held religious beliefs, practice and observance prohibit me from defiling my body with a vaccine, covering my face with a device that obstructs my God-given breath of life, and participating in covid testing. These are activities that conflict with my religious beliefs, practice and observance. Expression of my religious faith is protected by state and federal laws.
There are several exemptions in the California Department of Health orders for those who do not wear face coverings.
The glaring omission of an exemption to face coverings and testing based on religious beliefs is egregious and unlawful.
I demand an immediate amendment to the State health orders to include a religious exemption for those who do not veil their face with a mask or shield due and those who abstain from Covid testing based on sincerely held religious convictions.
You have taken a sworn oath to uphold the Constitution of California and the Constitution of the United States.
No emergency orders suspend civil rights. (See Civil Rights Department of California: "Are Civil Rights Laws in Effect During a Pandemic? Yes."

To remedy these egregious wrongs of rampant religious persecution in the State of California, allowed by the State Department of Healthy with its glaring omission of religious rights protections, these actions must be taken:
(1) An IMMEDIATE addition of religious beliefs to the list of health order exemptions, written and widely publicized to the public and to the public accommodations.
(2) Written documents, flyers, emails and letters sent to all businesses in California requiring them to allow for religious exemptions for those who do not veil their face or participate in testing or vaccination based on religious beliefs.
(3) A public resolution from the California Department of Health proclaiming their commitment to the free expression of religious beliefs, as guaranteed by the California Constitution and the United States Constitution. This resolution shall also include an apology from the Board of Supervisors, the County Health Department Officers and the County Sheriff for allowing such egregious religious persecution to be carried out under their watch.
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO REMEDY THIS WRONG IMMEDIATELY.
Any delay that results in my further religious persecution will be your responsibility.
You will be held responsible for violating 18 U.S. Code §241, Conspiracy of deprivation of rights. This is a felony.
I am requesting your written response in 10 days,. I look forward to hearing the resolution you will put forth, adding "religious exemptions" to the list of face covering guidance in Orange County, and widely publicizing this information.
Sincerely,
[Your name]
