We head into the week with more good news! This time, for those who serve our country in the Navy and Air Force! Peggy will be covering the breakdown of these court rulings all week on Peggy to the Rescue so make sure to tune in this week. Speaking of wins, we love to celebrate them, big and small, and understand the value of acknowledging our efforts. It nourishes our spirit and gives us that extra nudge when we're able to reflect and celebrate the achievement of our goals. Like these injunctions - they are small wins and a step in the right direction and here are some important reasons why we should all give ourselves a pat on the back, regardless of how big or "small" these achievements are! Clarity: Celebrating "wins", particularly the small ones give you clarity for your big goals. We get to see where we went wrong and what we did to overcome them. We are then better able to adjust our game plan to achieve our bigger goals. Confidence & Motivation: By acknowledging the small wins, it becomes easy to fire back with the same power and confidence for bigger, loftier goals. When the going gets tough, you can simply look back to how you overcame your obstacles and push through. Brain health: When you celebrate, endorphins release inside the body, and you feel awesome. Celebrating wins not only feels incredible physically, but it also reinforces the behavior you took to achieve them to better help you when you face new opportunities or challenges in your life.
Research shows people are happier and more motivated to succeed if they feel proud of their work and celebrating the wins bring happiness and a sense of accomplishment into focus. Let the endorphins flow and join us this week as we celebrate these steps into the right direction for our navy and air force officers. We are doing it, friends!
