| | | | | So things are letting up and the employers are calling their cattle (oops, I meant) people back into the office. But now, all of a sudden everyone may or may not have a killer, deadly or very mild and benign illness so we must all get the injection that could kill us or magically heal us from this very elusive, ever-so evolving, shape-shifting "thing" before stepping a foot back into the work place. Well, you know you're not going to drink (or jab) the kool-aid so, how do you deal?! Here's what Peggy would say - "Wow, I am so glad I work for an employer who cares for the safety and well being of their employees and have put my health as your highest priority! I applaud you! And because you've placed my health and everybody else's healthy and safety as your top priority, I will continue to work from home, 100% remotely, as I've been doing this entire time. I would never be able to live with myself if I showed up at work, with my pure blood, breathing oxygen, and everybody started dropping like flies because I breathed on them." In fact, I'm so on board that I'm even going to turn off my camera during our zoom meetings so you won't see that I don't wear the virtue signaling, iq test on my face because some people have a super weak immune system and may catch something through the screen. Oh and let me turn my mic off as well since some of those who identify as a worm may find my human voice to be too human-y and threatening. It doesn't matter that it's scientifically proven that humans cannot identify as a worm; some just do. Like my pet pencil who sometimes identify as a piece of gum when I'm chewing it's head off. We don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, do we?! So! Wonderful, gracious employer who puts their employees' health and safety as your highest priority, let me help you help me - I will continue to work remotely and stay home alone, together.
