| | | | Ahoy, friends! If you haven't given yourself a pat on the back lately, why don't we start this week off with a nod to all our comebacks these past two years. How many times did you bounce back from a total setback? And how do you feel about that setback now? In light of the brief hiatus Peggy and Pastor David had taken this past week, I'm thinking of the countless stories of heartbreak, heartache, injustice, and prejudice many of our Healthy Americans have been through since our fight against tyranny started in 2020. Not only did we fight for ourselves - to survive and to keep up, but we stepped up to the plate for our neighbors, our friends, our colleagues, teammates, and of course, our loved ones, too. We had our health to preserve, our minds to protect, our jobs to save, our children to pull out of school, our friends to inform, our parents to make peace with, our pets to take care of, our lives to live! But no mercy, life throws curve balls at us without consideration. And we go to bat, not in lieu of all the hardships we face in our everyday lives but, with the added weight of it all. One of the best training methods for contact sports like boxing is to grip a set of weights while you practice your punches. It's a killer when you first switch your 12 oz. boxing gloves for a set of 3 or 5 lbs. weights. The arms feel like they're on fire and it's so hard to follow through on the punch as you normally would. When the drill is finally over and you put your gloves back on, the 12 oz. gloves you thought to be so big and heavy, bulky and cumbersome are now as light as a feather on your hands and your punches are like the killer strikes of Ali. POW! Bring. It. On. Can we take a moment to acknowledge the extra work we have all put in to our comebacks this season? We've laid down our usual training gloves and picked up an extra set of weights for the fight. We took it on and we endured! It weighed us down, but we rose back up. It made us burn, but our light shines brighter than ever before. We're so much stronger, more confident, and much wiser than what set us back. For that, a pat on the back and a nod to the warriors of The Healthy American family! We are so proud and thankful for every single one of you. To celebrate, we plan to make lemonade! What I mean is this - coming up this month in our concierge calls, we're going to use the audio portion of actual interviews held by HR and our Healthy Americans while they went through the religious exemption process at work and at schools. We will hear the questions that were asked and how they were answered and use these examples to prepare everyone for a strong response. This is going to be a game changer and it's going to be rad! Sign up today and join us tomorrow! Thursday is our VIP call. When life gives you lemons... Pow! Bring. It. On. xoxo - Nari, editor in chief *P.S. - I know everyone is anxiously waiting for a word from Peggy! Please be on the lookout tomorrow as there will be a special message of thanks from our captain in a separate, stand-alone newsletter. | | ** Our weekly concierge calls resume tomorrow, Tuesday, February 8th.
