Your loved ones might be miles away, but social media can bring you close to each other. Thanks to the social networking site Facebook, you can view photos of your grandchildren, connect with long-lost friends, meet people from your community and instantly communicate with those you care about. This tutorial will cover the basics of Facebook, including creating an account, setting up your profile, finding friends and online security.

Bringing awareness to what we are grateful for can help to improve our outlook, attitude and emotional wellbeing. Allison will share several techniques for connecting with gratitude and will discuss the many benefits of this simple yet profound practice.
Alternative Healing as a Compliment to Medical Care Monday, December 4, 2–3:30pm With Dr. Jodi Friedman, Medical Director, Center for Healthy Aging
Dr. Friedman will discuss the benefits of alternative therapies as a compliment to traditional medicine. She will be joined by providers from the Northern Dutchess Hospital Women’s View as well as nutritionist Roufia Payman, who will describe holistic practices including acupuncture, massage and nutritional healing.
