Care and Maintenance Manual for Men (Model Years 1922–1952) Monday April 9, 2–3:30pm With Peter Fish, MD, Medical Director, Thompson House
Like a beloved classic car, men’s bodies need ongoing care and maintenance. Peter Fish, MD, medical director of the Thompson House, will address medical issues of concern to men age 64 and older, including prostate cancer, high blood pressure, preventive medicine, sexual problems and urinary dysfunction. Spouses, partners, family and caregivers are all invited to attend.

We might not be happy about getting older, but can we embrace it? Jodi Friedman, MD, medical director of the Center for Healthy Aging, will discuss misconceptions about aging and what we can do to age with grace and dignity.

In recent years, the once solitary study of genealogy has evolved into a dynamic, interactive and social activity that can lead to true storytelling and empathy. Knowing your roots can provide a new perspective on your life and an appreciation for your lasting impact on the world. In this program, Melissa Betts, PhD, historian and genealogist, will discuss her work as a family history researcher and share the many ways that exploring the past may enhance your well-being, sense of satisfaction and interpersonal relationships.
