The Taste of Rhinebeck food crawl competition returns on April 14, 2015 for its 11th year to benefit Northern Dutchess Hospital. This walkable trail of culinary delights features restaurants, spirit shops and specialty food retailers. There are more than 20 venues in the Village of Rhinebeck to enjoy, creating a great night out with friends!
Each year, our Taste chefs create small plates of delicious fare or a palate-pleasing beverage to win the votes of participants in the categories of best: appetizer, main course, dessert and beverage. You won’t go home hungry!
New this year, the Ira J. Gutner Hospitality Award will be awarded for the best overall experience in honor of the late owner of Samuel’s of Rhinebeck.
Groups of friends are encouraged to experience the Taste together and discover new favorite places to dine and shop as they stroll the streets of our quaint village. At registration, participants will get a map with staggered starting locations, as well as voting materials and their wristbands. The Taste event is organized by the Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation, which raises money to support the hospital and TheThompson House. All proceeds of ticket sales benefit the hospital.
