CONTACT FLOW WORKSHOP WITH GRANDMASTER TIM CARRON
If you've ever had a private lesson with Grandmaster Tim Carron you know how unique and
devastating his contact flow is. Follow along as John Perkins' top student works one-on-one
with many of our black belts at a private Contact Flow Workshop we held in early 2009.
Tim's precision, economy of motion and sensitivity are real eye-openers, and his personal
expression of the art looks different than GC creator John Perkin's (even though the principles
are the same) making this DVD an invaluable training tool for advanced practitioners.
The reason we say this is because unless you've worked with him or at least have a strong
foundation in Guided Chaos you won't really be able to appreciate what you're seeing.
For you Wing Chun practitioners, you might be interested in knowing that Tim's contact flow

has been said by non-GC practitioners to look like "Wing Chun on steroids"--although it is not.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a raw, unproduced DVD with no explanations. The sound quality is low
and there is some static and background noises.

"Building on Part II in this newsletter, I’ll continue on with what you really need to be thinking about from a personal protection standpoint. In this newsletter I will cover the nature of one of the most horrific crimes you may have to deal with the “Home Invasion Crime”. Then in Part - IV I will focus on some preventive measures to aid in your ability to survive such a situation should you become victim to it.

For those who continue to think that real fights are like what you see in the ring or in the movies, I’ve got bad news for you… that stuff does not happen in the real world! Once again these folks are living in an alternative reality and haven’t the slightest clue as to the true nature of the fight they may have on their hands.

To set the tone below are two stories ripped right from the headlines and while they are horrific they serve as a reminder as to the true nature of real violence that we train to and not the nonsense that passes for self defense in most fighting systems. Also be advised that what I am sharing here is but a small sample of the type of Hell and mayhem that visits ordinary law abiding citizen’s everyday, may they rest in peace and find justice. As stated in previous newsletters the question I have for you at the end of the day is are “you” going to allow yourself or your loved ones to become the topic of the next news headline..."
