(OTCQB: GTXO), a leading provider of personal location wearable technologies, is pleased to announce the launch of its VL2000 Wear-Where tracking/talking device, a miniaturized quad-band GPS device optimized for today’s demanding requirement were location based safety, security and connectivity are paramount.

The VL2000 boasts a series of new features and functionality designed to provide end users with a comprehensive tracking in an ultra-portable form factor. In addition to standard real time GPS tracking and geo-fencing, the VL2000 comes standard with GSM/GPRS connectivity, providing both voice and data communications, enabling tracking and monitoring along with the ability for the device to call a preset phone number when directed.  The device also includes an SOS button that can send email or text alerts to a user defined list of up to 25 people and has been designed with extended battery life in mind through a motion sensor that puts the device in sleep mode preserving battery life for up to 2 weeks on a single charge.  In addition, GTX is introducing wireless inductive charging for ease of recharging, eliminating the need to plug in the device for charging.

 

As with all GTX Corp wearable tech solutions, this device comes with access to the GTX Corp Tracking Portal and monitoring app for easy access from any internet connected computer, smart phone, tablet or Smart Locator App, empowering you to track and monitor your workforce, recover a wandering patient, keep an eye on your children or pets and can be implemented in a variety of applications. For those on the go the device can be located by simply calling it from a cell phone and within 30 seconds the VL2000 will reply back with a text message including a Google map link with its location.
